Simon Riley

BIOGRAPHY

Simon Riley went to St. Martins School of Art. When he left, he became a pavement artist, chalking on flagstones all over the UK. He then stumbled into a job as a community artist for Liverpool City Council after accompanying a friend to the local job centre. Charged with brightening up some of the city’s less attractive areas, Simon would illustrate large murals of cityscapes, whilst adding his own small flourishes such a streaker or someone throwing up in a gutter.
