Last November, amongst the free porn, PVC and vibrators at the Erotica Fair, the shiny red Rudie Red logo stood bright, this was the second time the Rudie Red collection had seen the big wide world and what an eye opener that was.

Welcome to the very new, quite suggestive, often chaotic and sometimes unfinished canvases of seductive women by Rudie Red. Based on the passion to make things beautiful, with flowers, birds, butterflies and…….boobs. Behind all of that is artist Ria Hill, she began painting as Rudie Red back in March 2007 and hasn’t looked back since. The body of work has been received well and has lead Ria to release the first Rudie Red limited edition prints of some of her most admired work.

Ria studied printed textiles and screen printing and this design influence is revered in her painting approach and composition. Masses of colour and intense collage against open white space, create striking images of wonderment and women jumping out of the canvas. Rudie Red combines Ria’s love of fashion photography, tattoo imagery and her knack for portraiture and imagination.
