Cageone

CageOne started painting traditional graffiti lettering influenced by European styles in the late 80’s early 90’s. By the late 90’s his work concentrated on graphic style characters,  over the years he has developed his work into a non-objective style.

Cageone’s current work is influenced by the decay found in towns and cities across the UK.  All the pieces in this collection are monochrome.  The angular sharp lines are softened with the blurs, strokes and drips – creating a sense of movement and depth to each piece.

His work can be found across the UK and Europe, painted on walls using emulsions and spray paint and he has a growing collection of studio work using ink and spray paint on paper.
